Brass Camlock Coupling Type B Female Coupler X Male
JINGYANG brass cam and groove fitting type B. This 1/2′′ female camlock (cam and groove) quick connect coupler has a 1/2′′ male NPT threads on one side and a 1/2′′ female camlock (cam and groove) quick connect coupler on the other. This coupler's female camlock side will only accept a 1/2′′ male camlock. The male threaded side will connect to a female NPT threaded pipe.

Product Description
JINGYANG type B brass cam and groove fitting. This type B brass cam lock fitting has a 1/2″ female camlock (cam and groove) quick connect coupler on one side and a 1/2″ male NPT threads on the other side. The female camlock side of this coupler will only attach to a 1/2″ male camlock. The male threaded side will connect to a female NPT (National Pipe Tapered) threaded pipe.
Warning: Type B cam lock fittings, or any other camlock fitting, should not be used for compressed air or steam.
Product Feature
Brass camlock couplings, made of 100% virgin materials, have excellent corrosive resistance against water, hydraulic oil, coolants, gasoline and petroleum products.
Thanks to its non-sparking feature, brass camlocks can be used in some special places such as in marine fueling applications. Brass cam lock fittings come into size from 1/2" to 8". The fittings are interchangeable except 1/2" and 8", which have no international specifications.
Generally speaking, the usual working temperature for brass couplings is rated from -150°F to +450°F. Always make sure the gasket material is compatible with the media.
Both brass and stainless steel camlock fittings have good corrosive resistance, high tensile strength and durability. However, brass coupling is less expensive than stainless steel, and softer and easier to thread.
Product Application
Camlock couplings are great for the transfer of both dry and fluid materials. There are a variety of camlock uses, such as transferring food, water, fuel, or sand and making them suitable for almost any industry. Because of the variety of substances that can flow through the camlock, it is important to choose the right material for the job. Common camlock applications and their materials are:
1.Stainless Steel Camlocks are best suited for acid, alkali, and corrosive substances.
2.Polypropylene and Nylon Camlocks can be used in the chemical industry, for transmitting liquid, and for irrigation in the agricultural industry.
3.Brass Camlocks work very well for transmitting salty water. They are suitable for most environments except for acid and alkali.
4.Aluminum Alloy Camlocks are great for use with fresh water or mixtures of oil and water.
