Brass Camlock Coupling Type DP Dust Plug
JINGYANG brass cam and groove dust plug is used to seal the end of a pipe or hose that has a female cam and groove coupler. The male quick connect adapter on this type DP male camlock (Cam and Groove) fitting connects to a standard female cam and groove coupling.

Product Description
JINGYANG brass cam and groove dust plug used to plug the end of a pipe or hose with a female cam and groove coupler. This type DP male camlock (Cam and Groove) fitting has a male quick connect adapter that attaches to a standard female cam and groove coupling.
Product Advantage
Brass camlock couplings, made of 100% virgin brass, have excellent corrosive resistance against salty water, hydraulic oil, coolants, gasoline and petroleum products. Thanks to its non-sparking feature, brass camlocks can be used in some special places such as in marine fueling applications. Brass cam lock fittings come into sizes from 1/2" to 8".
Generally speaking, the usual working temperature for brass couplings is rated from -150°F to +450°F. Always make sure the gasket material is compatible with the media. Both brass and stainless steel camlock fittings have good corrosive resistance, high tensile strength and durability. Brass coupling is softer and easier to thread than stainless steel. Due to increasing price of the brass, they are currently the most expensive Camlock couplings.
Brass camlocks are normally used in low pressure suction or discharge hoses of pumps, tanks, IBC and other places where quick connect/disconnect is necessary like paints & inks industry. Before installation, always make sure the material is compatible with the media.
Selection Tips
Material
First, we must know which material we want to use, because camlock coupling, has Stainless Steel 304/316, Aluminum, Brass, PP and Nylon materials.
Size
We need to know which size we should buy and use.
Camlock coupling size from 1/2" to 8" for SS 304/316, Aluminum, 1/2" to 6" for Brass camlock coupling, and 1/2" to 4" for PP and Nylon materials.
Types
Camlock coupling, the standard has A, B, C, D, E, F, DC and DP 8 types. And it also has reducer type and Auto locking types.
Temperature
Camlock coupling is usually between -30 to 100 degrees. It is mainly related to the seal. such as Buna-N, EPDM, Viton(FPM), Teflon(PTFE), Silicon(Food Grade).
